(1) Coarse filter
The filter material of the coarse filter is generally non-woven fabric, metal wire mesh, glass fiber, nylon mesh, etc. Commonly used coarse filters are: ZJK-1 type automatic winding herringbone air filter, TJ-3 type automatic winding flat air filter, CW type air filter, etc. Its structural forms are plate type, folding type, belt type and winding type.
(2) Medium efficiency filter
Commonly used in-effect filters are: M-I, II, IV type foam plastic filter, YB type glass fiber filter, etc. The filter material of the medium effect filter is mainly glass fiber, medium and fine pore polyethylene foam plastic and synthetic fiber felt made of polyester, polypropylene, acrylic and so on.
(3) High efficiency filter
Commonly used high efficiency filters are GB type and GWB type. The filter material is ultra-fine glass fiber filter paper with very small pores. The use of very low filtration rate, which enhances the screening and diffusion of small dust particles, so it has a high filtration efficiency.
The compressed air from the air source contains excessive water vapor and oil droplets, as well as solid impurities, such as rust, sand, pipe sealants, etc., which will damage the piston seal ring and block the small exhaust holes on the components. Shorten the service life of components or make them invalid. The function of the air filter is to separate the liquid water and liquid oil droplets in the compressed air, and filter out the dust and solid impurities in the air, but it cannot remove the gaseous water and oil.
