Air filterIt is an air filter device whose main function is to filter the dust in the air and purify the gas entering the room. It is usually used in dust-free workshops, dust-free rooms and laboratories. At present, the air filter is an important means of air purification, and its quality can be said to be a method to judge whether the indoor cleanliness meets the standard. Here are the factors that affect the filtering effect of the air filter.
Air volume, filtration efficiency, air resistance and dust holding capacity are the four main factors that affect the air filter. In addition, air supply and filter life are also very important parameters.
1. Air volume: the amount of air passing through the air filter = the wind speed of the filter part × the area of the filter part (m2)× 3600m3
2. Filtration efficiency: Under the rated air volume, the percentage of the difference between the air dust concentration N1 and N2 before and after the filter and the air dust concentration before the filter is called the filtering force A.
It is generally more intuitive to evaluate the effect of a filter with permeability. The permeability K refers to the percentage of dust concentration in the air after the filter and before the filter.
3. Air resistance: The resistance encountered by the air flowing through the air filter is part of the total resistance of the system. The resistance increases with increasing filtration rate.
4. Dust holding capacity: refers to the amount of dust in the air filter when the final resistance is reached under the rated air volume.
The main source of clean room dust is the movement of people. According to statistics, it accounts for more than 80% of the total. In addition, from buildings, probably between 10 and 15 percent. In general, the clean air supply system should bring less dust.
It is worth noting that the function of the air filter is to filter out dust particles, which is also the main measure of sterilization.
This is because dust particles are often used as carriers for bacteria. If there are more dust particles in the air, bacteria will easily adhere to them, so filtering dust particles is equivalent to filtering out a large number of bacteria.
In addition, in any of the following cases, the HEPA filter should be replaced.
1. Even if the primary and medium-effect air filters are replaced, the airflow speed will still be reduced to the lower limit, and the airflow speed cannot be increased.
2. EfficientAir filterThe resistance reaches 1.5 to 2 times the initial resistance.
3. There is an irreparable leak in the high efficiency air filter.
