How to identify the quality of an air filter

There are primary effect filter, medium effect filter, high efficiency filter and ultra high efficiency filter. Various models have different standards and use efficiency.

1. Initial filter: Disassemble ≥ 5μM dust particles, with initial resistance ≤ 50Pa used as a pre-filter in the air conditioning purification system to protect the medium and high efficiency filters and other accessories in the air conditioning box and extend its service life.

2. Medium-efficiency filter: the initial resistance of dust particles ≥ 1.0μm after disassembly is ≤ 80Pa. As an intermediate filter in the air conditioning purification system, it can reduce the load of the high-efficiency filter and extend the service life of the high-efficiency filter and accessories in the air conditioning box.

3. Sub-high efficiency filter: disassemble ≥ 0.5μM dust particles, with initial resistance ≤ 120Pa, which can be used as the intermediate filter of air conditioning purification system and the terminal filter of low-level purification system.

4. High efficiency filter: the initial resistance of dust particles ≥ 0.3μm is ≤ 220Pa, and the terminal filter clean room (0.3μM clean room) must be used.

5. Ultra-high efficiency filter: remove ≥ 0.1μM dust particles, initial resistance ≤ 280Pa, must be used in the terminal filter clean room (0.1μM clean room).

Methods to determine the quality of the air filter:

The filtration efficiency of the air filter reaches the standard level. If the efficiency of the filter itself is not qualified, it will seriously affect the overall effect of air filtration, and more subtle dust magazines will be sucked into the air.

2. If the air permeability of the air filter is not good, it will involve the suction of the air compressor. Therefore, the suction force will be blocked, which will increase the power consumption.

3. Waterproof performance of air filter. There is a lot of water in the air, especially on rainy days. The humidity of the air is very high. If the waterproof performance of the air filter is poor, it is easy to get damp, which will make the air compressor unable to breathe freely. When the problem is serious, it will be blocked, resulting in increased power consumption.

4. The end cover, central tube, shell and other metal parts of the inferior air filter element have not been rust-proof, resulting in metal corrosion and impurities, which affect the air purification after the filter is used.

5. The material of the filter center tube is thin rather than thick, and the strength is not enough. During use, the center tube shrinks, the filter element is damaged and blocks the oil circuit, resulting in insufficient lubrication of the engine; or the reliability of the undercut is poor, and the undercut is pulled apart during use, resulting in a large amount of oil leakage in a short time, resulting in tile burning and shaft jamming.

6. Inferior air filters are made of low-cost filter paper. Due to its large pore size, poor uniformity, and low filtration efficiency, it cannot effectively filter impurities that are harmful to the engine, which will seriously affect the air filtration due to the early wear of the fan.

7. Inferior air filters use inferior adhesives, which are used in a small amount. They are neither oil-resistant nor firm, causing a short circuit in the bonding part of the filter element; or the joints of the filter element are connected with staples, which cannot be sealed but are short-circuited, causing a large amount of harmful impurities Enter the engine and reduce the service life of the engine.

8. Inferior air filters use ordinary rubber parts instead of oil-resistant rubber parts. During use or due to the failure of the internal seal seal, the internal short circuit of the filter, the engine wears prematurely, the service life is reduced, or the external seal of the oil filter is squeezed out due to the expansion and deformation of the external seal, and a large amount of oil is discharged in a short time. The engine oil caused serious damage to the engine.
